The Founder’s Journey
At You N Nature, our journey began with a love for nature, sustainability, and inclusivity. Our founder, Dipti, a Biotechnology graduate with an MBA in Marketing & HR, discovered her passion for natural skincare while exploring new experiences. During her time in Varanasi, working as a property manager and chef at a café-hostel, she was introduced to beeswax a moment that sparked her curiosity and love for handmade, eco-friendly skincare.
When the pandemic hit, Dipti returned home and spent months experimenting with natural ingredients, crafting her first batch of lip balms. What started as a personal creation soon evolved into You N Nature a brand dedicated to safe, effective, and gender-inclusive skincare. Committed to reducing plastic waste, we use eco-friendly, recyclable, and reusable packaging, ensuring that every product is as kind to the planet as it is to your skin.

The First Creation
Dipti’s first creation wasn’t a business product it was the tulsi-infused lip balm she made for herself in Varanasi. However, during the six-month lockdown, she refined her formulation and produced her first batch of lip balms, ordering 70 plastic containers just for a pilot run. This phase was all about learning, testing, and perfecting her recipes. It was only later that a conversation with her father changed her perspective. When he asked, “Why are all these products for women? Don’t men need skincare too?” it sparked a new direction. She realized that the market was heavily women-centric, leaving men and other gender identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals, underserved. This led her to develop inclusive, unisex skincare that caters to all.
At the same time, her love for nature pushed her to go beyond just making products she wanted to make a difference. She moved away from plastic packaging, exploring eco-friendly, recyclable, and reusable alternatives to minimize waste and stay true to her commitment to sustainability.
From a simple DIY experiment to a mission-driven brand, You N Nature was born out of curiosity, passion, and a deep-rooted belief in transparent, sustainable, and gender-inclusive skincare.
