The Founder’s Journey: From Passion to Purpose

The story of You N Nature is one of curiosity, exploration, and a deep love for nature. Our founder, Dipti, a Biotechnology graduate with an MBA in Marketing & HR, has always been passionate about natural and sustainable living.

After completing her B.Tech in Biotechnology, Dipti started working in the corporate world. However, she soon felt the urge to explore life beyond the routine of a job. Her travels took her to Varanasi, where she worked as a property manager and chef at a café-hostel. She first came across beeswax here, sparking her interest as a biotech enthusiast. Keen to understand its properties, she experimented with creating a natural lip balm using tulsi (holy basil) just for herself, as she loved using eco-friendly, chemical-free products.

From a Simple Experiment to a Skincare Brand
Then came the COVID-19 lockdown, forcing Dipti to return home. With six months of isolation, she began experimenting further, refining her formulas, and eventually crafting her first batch of lip balms. To test her creations, she bought 70 plastic containers for a small pilot batch.
During this time, a conversation with her father changed everything. He questioned why most skincare products were marketed only to women and asked, “Don’t men need skincare too?” This was a turning point—Dipti decided that You N Nature would be a gender-inclusive brand, catering to all skin types and identities, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Sustainability & Ethical Beauty
While the idea of inclusivity took shape, Dipti also reflected on sustainability. Though she had initially used plastic for testing, she knew she had to find better alternatives. Her love for nature pushed her to shift towards eco-friendly, recyclable, and reusable packaging, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
Thus, You N Nature was born—a brand that stands for transparency, sustainability, and inclusivity. Every product is handcrafted in small batches, made with ethically sourced natural ingredients, and created with the mission to provide safe, effective skincare for everyone.
